Inspects thread alignment inside the coupling. It has two fixed contact points which must be placed on one side of the coupling and a mobile contact point to be placed on the other side of the coupling. Turning the coupling one turn, the dial indicator connected to the mobile contact point will display any measurement of misalignment among the threads of the coupling. No setting standard is needed.
